ABOUT
My journey into the wedding world began over a decade ago as an assistant to bridal accessory designer Debbie Carlisle, while completing an apprenticeship in the building she rented a studio. I then went on to complete a bachelors degree in Jewellery & Metalwork at Hallam university, but something always felt unfinished.
Growing up, hair and makeup were never seen as “serious” options, and my education/teachers pushed me elsewhere. As a naturally creative person, I buried the beauty dream for years.
Returning to college/beauty school as an adult was life-changing. For the first time, I allowed myself to choose what I truly wanted. From the very beginning, I knew bridal hair and makeup was where I belonged. It wasn’t just about styling; it was about connection, artistry, wellbeing and the privilege of being part of someone’s most important day.
I’ve never looked back. Every year, my business grows in ways I could never have imagined, and every wedding reminds me why I do this: to help people feel their most authentic, confident and beautiful selves. My story is proof that following your heart, no matter when you start, can lead you exactly where you’re meant to be.
